Learn screen printing and access our printing studio and equipment

This 8-week program includes five guided group sessions and three individual studio sessions for you to print your designs.

The course in screen printing photos and portraits on fabric and paper - from digitally adapting photos, creating a screen, printing, and more.

The second month gives you priority studio access, group support, and printer guidance, as you practice your skills and develop your own printed products. 

Learn screen printing techniques, how to design and print T-shirts and other items, and gain access to our studio to develop your own ideas.

With our printers’ guidance, equipment training, and studio space, you’ll be able to approach printing projects and complete them in our space or on your own.

In this course we’ll learn to turn a photo into a one-color print using halftones. - and how to do this with other ideas you come up with. You’ll get an orientation and access to the space and printing equipment. You’ll earn the ability to rent the space at our insider rate so you can return and execute similar projects in the future

Printing Photos in Halftones

You’ll get the instructions and hands-on experience needed to transform a photo into a graphic design, adapted and burned onto a screen, and printed on T-shirts. You’ll get the training you need to operate in our printing studio, and you’ll learn the fundamentals of screen printing 1- and 2-color designs.

After the first 5 weeks of instruction and training, you’ll have studio access to print your designs.

Our shop features a 6-color Ryonet printing press, conveyor dryer, screens and exposure unit, water-based ink, and more.
