Group events are some of our favorite days here at the printshop. They are lively and personal environments where participants experience the magic of making prints in a casual, creative space.

Here’s an example of what an afternoon at Sunset could look like for a group of 4-16 people:

We start off by welcoming folks, exploring the shop, getting acquainted. We’ll give a brief overview of the screen making process and talk about the projects we have set up for the day.

Then we’ll jump into printing — T-shirts, posters, tote bags — whatever the group has planned. Participants are welcome to bring garments or other materials to print on. We have access to a wide range of apparel options and can have specific sizes and styles on hand if desired.

Each person will have a chance to make a number of printed items to take home and usually there's time after everyone's had the chance to print to hang out and keep experimenting for a while. After the printing is done we celebrate…

You're welcome to bring food and drinks or we have options to provide them.

Groups often use 1-color designs, which keeps things simple. We can also work with multicolor prints or prepare a number of images to play with, whatever suits the group best. 

Rates start at around $100 per person and vary depending on the particulars of the event.
